Hello there! My name is Sue Eggen & I’m the heart & hands of Giant Dwarf. My handmade adventure began in 2003 in Portland, Oregon with a passion for reconstructing recycled fabrics & an unexplainable desire to create with color. After a cross-country move in 2005, the company began to grow & reinvent itself as more than just a hobby.
After years of hard work & dedication, Giant Dwarf has now become an integral part of the indie craft scene, participating in craft fairs coast to coast, as well as grabbing the attention of national publications & design blogs around the world, such as The New York Times, The Today Show & Design Sponge.
Currently, I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with my fiance Nathaniel & our sweet kitty Turnip in the Eddy Money Pit, an old house we are remodeling. When I’m not covered in thread & sawdust, I love to hunt for vintage treasures, arrange fresh flowers & traverse the globe.
